It is just possible that your ISP might automatically move your connection to a partner company or change your connection with out your knowledge. This type of action by the provider is known as slamming. When they notify you in writing, you will have to specify that you don’t want them to do this type of connection, If you keep quite they will assume that that you have approved their action. In such cases you could have problems in getting back off that service again. Hence it is advisable to keep a close watch on all correspondence from your provider.
